Shifting masculinities, resistance to hegemonic masculinity [NEW]

Note: This section focuses on accounts of shifting, new, and hybrid masculinities, discourses of ‘crisis’ among men or boys, men’s and boys’ resistance to hegemonic or patriarchal masculinities, and related areas. Of course, many of the works listed in other sections addresss this area as well, and items without the term ‘crisis’ in the title may explore this area. On men’s and boys’ resistance to hegemonic masculinity, also see the section on men, feminism and gender equality. On men’s and boys’ resistance to or rejection of homophobia and heterosexism, see the section on gay men, homophobia and masculinity.
